The Edge Barber Shop

I had a great experience here. Better than most barbershops I’ve been to. I was a walk in and Herb greeted me right away! He knew exactly what I wanted when I explained it to him and it came out amazing! His service and hospitality was well done I would recommend him to friends, family or anyone that’s looking for a barber! 10/10 worth the price!

In town for some work and needed a haircut, this was the place closer to where I'm staying... So I went and was greeted by THE WALK-IN BARBER.... This guy is learning for sure, not professional at all, even took a phone call while trimming my edges (funny that's the name of the barber shop) and got them totally butchered... like real bad!!!! Not recommended at all. Mr owner, If you have an apprentice at the shop let people know so we can decide if we want to take the risk, or if you "mr.barber" only know 1 cut style be professional and learn to say "I can't do it".

I know I'm just one person and this review won't matter but I will say it anyway. I went to Herbert and he was unkind. I paid for a haircut and tip before going and having the service. Had I not, bc of the humiliation, I would have just walked out. If my situation was so bad that he couldn't comfortably cut my hair he could have given me back my money and I would have left but he didn't. He decided to humiliate me in front of the whole shop, I had my head down and didn't c until I looked up and saw his mean performance in the mirror. Everyone in the shop could see except for me. I apologized a million times for my situation. I should have just left and not worried about the $42. I paid for a woman's cut and at first he just cut the back bottom of my hair. I had to ask for him to cut higher. Others charge $9 for what he did at first. No wonder he has to sell sea moss to supplement his income. Sea moss and tooth paste and lotion and all sorts of other foolishness. When u pay for a service u shouldn't have to feel pressured to buy something else. Yes there was pressure. I didn't want to pay another $15 for sea moss (that his treatment of it could have not remove all of the impurities. Who is your supplier? Why do u process it yourself? You are a pharmacist?Have u been approved by the FDA?) I paid $15 bc I felt I had to and the sea moss is going into the trash. It was a very bad experience. Herbert say what u want about me and my situation but u weren't the professional u claimed to b to me and if this review keeps even one person from having u cut their hair I will b satisfied. Even just one. U bring down the whole barbershop with your unprofessional behavior. I've been there before with my son and AJ was nice and professional and did a nice job. He didn't treat me badly and he didn't treat my son badly and I had the same situation then. If I made u so uncomfortable u should have given me my money back before you cut my hair and sd that u couldn't cut my hair but u didn't. U were greedy and wanted the money and wanted a laugh at my expense. Pathetic. U didn't even do a good job Herbert. I was there about 12 hours ago. What n the world did u do?
